Quotes & Invoicing

Rollout makes it easy to create quotes and invoices from your desk or the job site.

Creating a Quote

  1. Go to the customer's profile or the job details page
  2. Click "New Quote"
  3. Add line items (services, materials, labor)
  4. Set tax rates if applicable
  5. Send via email — the customer gets a professional PDF

Converting to Invoice

Won the job? Convert the quote to an invoice with one click:

  1. Open the approved quote
  2. Click "Convert to Invoice"
  3. Review the details (they carry over from the quote)
  4. Send to the customer

Invoice Features

  • Professional PDF layout with your company logo and branding
  • Line items for services, materials, and labor with quantities and rates
  • Tax calculations — set default tax rates or override per invoice
  • Payment terms — Net 15, Net 30, or due on receipt
  • Email delivery — send directly from Rollout
  • Online payment link — customers can pay with a credit card right from the invoice

Payment Reminders

Set up automatic payment reminders so you don't have to chase down late payments:

  • First reminder: 3 days after due date
  • Second reminder: 7 days after due date
  • Final reminder: 14 days after due date

You can customize the timing and the reminder message.

Recurring Invoices

For maintenance contracts and ongoing services:

  1. Create an invoice as usual
  2. Toggle "Recurring" on
  3. Set the billing frequency
  4. Rollout generates and sends invoices automatically

Tips

  • Send invoices the same day the job is completed — you'll get paid faster
  • Include photos from the job site to justify the work
  • Use line item templates for common services so you don't have to type them every time
