  1. The week before

    The Sullivans approve the quote from a link

    Their 2004 R-22 system is leaking. Jake's office sends a quote with the heat pump, air handler, line set, thermostat, and permit on their own lines. The Sullivan family opens it from a link, approves it, and pays a $2,500 deposit online.

  2. 7:30 AM

    One install, blocked out on the schedule

    The changeout takes Jake from 8:00 to 1:00, so it sits on his column as one long visit with the address and the checklist. Turn on drive time to see the minutes between stops. If the day changes, drag the visit and Jake's phone gets the update.

    Jake pulls in, and his timer starts

    Rollout sees him arrive at the Sullivan house and starts the clock on that job. When he drives away, it stops. Nobody fills in a timesheet at the end of the week.

  4. 10:48 AM

    No signal in the attic. The job keeps working.

    The air handler is in the attic and the phone has no bars. The checklist, the notes, and the running timer are all still there. Check off "braze the line set" offline and it syncs once the phone is back in signal.

  5. 4:45 PM

    Paid in full, deposit already counted

    The invoice comes from the job, with the $2,500 deposit applied, so the Sullivans see $8,189 left to pay. They paid from the invoice link. If they'd rather pay before Jake leaves, he can take the card with Tap to Pay on iPhone.
